The CONTOUR PLUS ELITE Glucometer is a compact blood glucose monitoring device designed for routine blood sugar testing at home. It uses an electrochemical measurement system to measure glucose levels in a blood sample obtained through a compatible test strip.
The device features a large digital display with easy-to-read numbers and smartLIGHT® technology, which uses colored indicators to help users understand whether a reading is below, within or above their personalized target range.
The glucometer requires a small blood sample of approximately 0.6 µL and provides results in approximately 5 seconds. Its Second-Chance® sampling feature allows users to apply additional blood to the same test strip within the specified time if the initial sample is insufficient, helping reduce test strip wastage.
The device includes automatic coding technology, eliminating the need for manual coding of test strips. It can store up to 800 blood glucose readings and supports Bluetooth connectivity with the CONTOUR®DIABETES app for tracking and reviewing measurements on a compatible smartphone.
The meter operates using two CR2032 or DL2032 3V lithium coin-cell batteries and is designed for portable, everyday blood glucose monitoring.
