Contour Plus blood glucose test strips, supplied as a pack of 50, are designed for use with compatible CONTOUR PLUS blood glucose meters, including the CONTOUR PLUS ELITE. They require a small blood sample and provide a glucose reading in approximately 5 seconds.
The CONTOUR PLUS Test Strips – 50’s are blood glucose monitoring strips intended for self-testing and near-patient blood glucose measurement. They are compatible with the CONTOUR PLUS meter family, including the CONTOUR PLUS ELITE blood glucose monitoring system.
Each pack contains 50 test strips supplied in a vial. The strips use a small blood sample of approximately 0.6 µL, and the compatible CONTOUR PLUS ELITE meter provides a result in approximately 5 seconds.
The strips feature Second-Chance Sampling, which allows additional blood to be applied to the same strip when the initial sample is insufficient. They also use a no-coding system, simplifying setup before testing.
For storage, the strips should be kept between 0°C and 30°C and protected from unsuitable temperature and humidity conditions. Users should follow the manufacturer’s instructions and use strips before their stated expiry date.
